I often wonder if I’ve missed opportunities that were meant for me such as jobs, education, friendships, relationships, money, lessons and other things but one thing that I have re-learned in the last couple of weeks is that God has me/you right where He wants us for this appointed time. It may be confusing and you feel like or I feel like I don’t need to be going through this but it is part of the process for the next step of your life. What ever is meant for you will be yours no matter what. God’s promises do not return void and He will always lead you to where you are meant to be. #Godsgotyou

Being quiet doesn’t make you weak or anything less than a person in most cases it makes you pretty smart. If you’re talking you can’t hear what is being said to you. I’ve been talking a lot lately and missing a lot of moments when God is trying to speak to me. So take some time to just practice being quiet and listen for guidance. He’s speaking but you have to get quiet to hear Him.

So yes I’m a fan of Beyoncé but this line when I heard it I had to rewind it a couple of times. I remember one of my posts last week asked the question “if you quit on your dream what will you do next?” And this just reinforces that question. We are already winners we just have to believe it and put our best foot forward all of the time. I have my days of doubts but I can’t get stuck in them. I’m a winner and I promised my mama I would make her proud of me and with making that promise to her I made that promise to myself so I will keep running and never quit for the dreams and goals that I have are just amazing and deserve to be fulfilled. So keep running every one you are always one step closer to where you want to be if you take the next step.

So I write a lot, I have journals on top of journals on top of journals and most of my journals are full of prayers. Recently I have went back through some of them to just see what I have prayed for in the past couple of months. A lot of my prayers have been answered and a lot I’m still believing God for if it is for me. One thing that I have realized is that the season that I am going through right now I prayed for. I didn’t get specific in the things that have happened but “God remove all of those things and people who do not belong” “God show me who I am and who those around me are” “God make it easy to not look back at what was lost”. In the past month I have seen myself from so many angles, I have seen those closest to me in so many angles, I have had to let go of who I thought was the love of my life and never to look back to that again, I have seen the negative shifts that I can go through boy just when you think you have seen your highest level of discomfort with yourself God reveals more. I have grown soooo much in the last 4 weeks it blows my mind. I have been through mood swings that I never thought possible. This month was about celebrating for me and although during the rough times I saw no reason to celebrate I sit here now and realize that I have so much to thank God for. What looked like the end of my life is only the beginning of my life or the next chapter. I thank God for the lessons learned and the shifts and transitions that have happened. I pray that next month is bigger, brighter and better for us all.
